Our DJs are mature, fully trained and experienced professionals. They know the most popular and well received music from all eras and are experts at selecting songs which will provide your guests with a truly memorable occasion.
The need to review lengthy song lists in advance of your event has been eliminated as we typically bring over 12,000 songs with us. You can make your requests right there!
This extensive variety and selection of music includes the most popular songs from the 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and all the new music as it comes out in the 2000’s. You can choose from mainstream popular music as well as country western, big band, waltzes, ethnic, group dances like the conga line, bunny hop, hokey-pokey, the twist, the chicken dance, line dances, the Macarena, etc.
Although we have all types of music in our library, we specialize in dance music. Our experience has given us a thorough knowledge of which songs are danceable and generate good crowd response and excitement. Our DJs talk (if that is what you desire) and encourage people to get involved. Simply stated, we specialize in keeping people dancing, smiling and entertained.
During your socializing time and dinner (should these be part of your event) soft easy listening music will be played to create the appropriate ambiance. After dinner, when dancing has begun, the DJ will closely observe your guests and thus adapt the music to the mood of the party. Remember, an important part of the DJ's expertise is knowing how to select the music to fit your tastes and that of your guests. He may experiment some and will encourage requests (providing this is desirable to you). If certain styles are well received he will play more, if not, he won't. In this way, you will have music that is custom tailored to your event.
On occasion we have had guests make requests for music that is:
- Totally inappropriate due to content (vulgarity and/or sexually explicit lyrics).
- Songs that, regardless of how good they may sound musically, are absolutely non-danceable.
- Styles that are of the guests own personal liking, but don't appeal to the majority of your guests, and clear the dance floor.
Generally, we very politely explain to this guest why we don't have their requests (items # 1 and #2 above) or, with item #3, we attempt to explain this phenomenon and try to suggest other artists or songs that we know will work, yet are still to their liking. When all else fails, we defer this guest to you, our paying client, and we will do as you request. Of course, that is providing we do indeed have the request in our music inventory.
Should you have special or specific music selections that you would like played during your event, we will make every effort to do so, if we have the selections in our music library. If we do not have your requests available, you are welcome to provide them (CDs only). We will be happy to play them for you! Your CDs must be clearly marked as to which tracks are to be played and in what sequence the various selections are to be played. As we are not familiar with your music, this is critical in order for us to insure a smooth flowing, successful event.
Important: If you are requesting any special music or plan to provide us with your own CDs, we must receive the requests and/or CDs in our office no later than four weeks prior to your event date. Please, if this is not adhered to, we may not be able to provide you with the best possible service.
Remember, if you wish to have a lot of dancing at your event, your requests should be good danceable songs which will please and motivate the majority of your guests

Please contact us as far ahead of your event as possible for your date and time availability. We frequently are contracted over a year in advance.
